This furniture design project channels surrealism through geometry for the interior pieces and arouses an eclectic chi in the outdoor area. Geometric shapes and proportion are played up by exaggerating the scale of an otherwise classic dining table and chairs. For dining al fresco, the sculptural dining table features sphere bases and a concrete top. The dining set is complete with chairs to follow the spherical rhythm. Sculpture heavily influenced the design, as the client is an artist. The pieces throughout the space were designed to spark conversation and draw upon artistic inspiration. Rich materials such as velvet, copper, teak, and wool were used for both indoor and outdoor pieces.
