This Bogotá apartment began as a blank canvas, ready to be shaped by our clients’ vision. They desired three bedrooms, a spacious master bathroom, and a generous walk-in closet. Additionally, they wanted a separate family area distinct from the living room.
To meet these requirements, we designed two stunning custom bookshelves that serve as the focal points of the space. Crafted from walnut, steel, and glass, these impressive bookcases span the hallway and act as a room divider, beautifully enclosing the family area while enhancing the apartment’s overall aesthetic.
This project exemplifies bespoke design, starting with the custom flooring in the entrance and powder bathroom. We meticulously selected materials—marble, brass, wood, and cement—to create a cohesive and striking floor design throughout the apartment.
To enhance the sense of dimension, we applied plaster to the ceilings, adding rich texture and depth. A standout feature is the hidden bar, elegantly concealed behind velvet-covered doors, which reveals a stunning Yves Klein blue interior when opened.
Every piece of furniture has been custom designed to create a harmonious flow and varied ambiance. We incorporated brass, blackened wood, and marble for the coffee table, while the upholstery showcases luxurious Kravet and Lee Jofa fabrics. The dining room features a unique console table, with legs carved from a solid block of stone. In every corner, this project embodies the essence of bespoke design.
