PENTHOUSE

Bogotá, Colombia

This project in Bogotá, Colombia, is a true reflection of our core philosophy in interior design: to create spaces that evolve with time, embody personal narratives, and harmonize past and present. The apartment is filled with a thoughtfully curated mix of art, treasured objects, and furniture collected over decades, seamlessly combined with contemporary pieces designed specifically for the space by Veronica Mishaan.

The apartment, which has been in the family for over 30 years, underwent a full renovation. It was updated with wide-plank oak flooring, custom-tinted by Veronica, and features a new lighting concept that blends discreet recessed fixtures with decorative and furniture-integrated lighting. The walls were refinished in smooth plaster, giving the home a refined and timeless backdrop.

The layout was reimagined to better reflect the owner’s current lifestyle. Staying true to our belief that interiors should evolve with the rhythm of life—because nothing is constant—this transformation honors the past while embracing the present.

The art collection is a vibrant reflection of this philosophy, featuring works by renowned artists such as Peter Halley, Sophia Vari, Pedro Ruiz, and Larraz. This collection, built over time with deep passion, anchors the space with cultural and emotional significance.

In the master bedroom, a dark blue Blossom wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries envelops the space, creating a serene, almost transportive atmosphere reminiscent of a peaceful garden—exactly the feeling the client wished to experience each time she entered her room.

The living room features a custom-designed sofa upholstered in Lee Jofa wool with sleek iron legs. It is paired with a trio of marble-top tables with oak legs and a striking cast bronze water lily table. The circular furniture arrangement encourages connection and conversation. As Veronica says, “A successful space is one that generates conversation.” That was precisely the intention.

The adjacent bar and lounge area showcases a large sage-green rug from Rug & Kilim. The four-person table is surrounded by chairs upholstered in elegant Nobilis fabric, offering both comfort and style.

Pops of color are found throughout the home, adding character and vibrancy—like the dark blue lacquered home office and the sage green playroom.

The second floor houses a charming bunk room, complete with custom-designed bunk beds for visiting grandchildren, blending practicality with a playful spirit.

The bathrooms were refreshed with new tile and marble, yet the original classic Kohler sinks—part of a collection from 20 years ago—were preserved, a nod to the home’s layered history.

This project is a vivid expression of what we believe makes a truly successful interior: a space full of soul, rooted in personal history, yet ready to embrace the future.
